Irina Rapaport is an artisan and mixed media artist; she has been practicing in the art and crafts field for more than 15 years.

Trained in architecture, the artist draws her influences largely from architectural forms and observations of shapes and structures found in nature, Irina is inspired by patterns, geometry and textures. Irina designs her architectural pieces using mother of pearl & abalone beads, shells, silver, semiprecious stones and glass beads. Her jewelry motifs revolve around a theme of sand, sea and sun.

The artist is recognized for the simplicity of elements she is able to distill in her work. The sculptural quality of her wearable objects makes each piece a one-of-a-kind art jewelry object.

Her conscious aim is to create an object that is meaningfully simple yet cutting edge modern while still using shapes, patterns and grains found in nature.
